Hello, followers, and welcome to The Porter Report's Summer Movie Season Preview for August and September. It has been an eventful summer at the movies without a shadow of a doubt. But like all things, the journey must come to an end. However, just because things are winding down doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Our last batch of summer flicks will have us laughing, dancing, fighting, and screaming as we put a bow on the 2025 campaign. Let’s run down our final lineup as we look ahead to our films set to drop in Month 4.

After seemingly putting their crime-committing days behind them, Wolf, Webs, Pirahna, Shark, and Snake are pulled into an all-new high-stakes job that could take them to new heights or a soul-crushing new low. Sam Rockwell, Anthony Ramos, Craig Robinson, Awkwafina, and Marc Maron reprise their roles as our lovable team of reformed crooks with a new batch of baddies played by Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, and Maria Bakalova. Witness an adventure so bad it's good when The Bad Guys 2 hits theaters on August 1st

Freakier Friday (Walt Disney Pictures August 8th)




Freaks and Geeks 


Decades after their life-changing switcharoo, Anna and Tess are closer than ever but now find themselves in the middle of another family crisis. With a potential blended family set to bring uncertainty and chaos, Tess and Anna find themselves in yet another mental swap scenario, this time with 2 additional unwilling volunteers. The iconic duo of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsey Lohan return to reprise their roles as Tess and Anna, respectively, with Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal, Ryan Malgarini, and Mark Harmon also returning as their respective characters from the 2003 film. The movie also features the talents of Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Manny Jacinto. Summer mayhem takes on an all-new meaning mentally when Freakier Friday arrives in cinemas on August 8th.

Bob Odenkirk returns as Hutch alongside Connie Neisen, Colin Hanks, RZA, John Ortiz, Michael Ironside, Sharon Stone, and Christopher Lloyd.
