Hi there followers. Welcome to the final month of the 2023 summer movie season. It has been a crazy whirlwind of a season. But it’s not over yet. Even at the end, there are still so many incredible films on the docket for our concluding month. The hits just keep coming even as the finish line inches closer. Let’s break it down in our August preview.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
 (Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Movies, August 2nd)

Bring Some Shell 

You know em, you love em, and they are coming back to ya!!! After half a decade away from the silver screen, the quartet of Mickey, Donnie, Leo, and Raph are back in the latest iteration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. From Seth Rogen and the director of Netflix's Mitchell vs The Machines, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon thrust fans into an all-new universe within the TMNT mythos with a new cast, story, and visual style. Weapon up and don’t forget the pizza when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem arrives in cinemas this Wednesday.

No stranger to dealing with this prehistoric terror of the deep, Jonas Taylor sets out on another expedition to seek out the beasts only to find out…this one brought some friends. The sequel to the 2018 aquatic adventure, Jason Statham is back for another helping as he dives into the treacherous clutches of these massive teeth-filled terrors. Jump back in for seconds when The Meg 2: The Trench swims into theaters on August 4th.

Ready or not, DC's newest hero is coming in hot when Blue Beetle comes to theaters on August 18th.
